The 2nd Leadership Training Program for 2023 was held on February 15 (Thursday).

　Leadership training is conducted twice a year for representatives and executives of student organizations (Alumni Association Executive Department, Sports Association, Cultural Association, each circle, etc.) to learn about the contents necessary for running club activities.

　For the second time, a lecturer was dispatched from the Shimonoseki City North Fire Department and conducted an "Emergency Critical Care Training". For about two hours in the course, I learned how to use AED, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and first aid such as injuries.

　Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was divided into four groups and was actually performed using dolls. I was surprised that three consecutive minutes of chest compressions required more physical strength than expected. In addition, for first aid such as injuries, I was able to acquire knowledge that can be very useful in daily life, such as what I can do using familiar magazines and pens.

　Finally, Mr. Kuo Kondo, President of the Alumni Association (3 years of economy), expressed his gratitude as student representatives. "I want to bring back the knowledge I gained in the workshop to the department and share it with all the members." It will greatly excite the club activities in the future. I'm looking forward to your continued success in spring.
