The 2nd Leadership Training was held on February 15, 2023.

　Leadership training is held twice a year for representatives and executives of student groups (Alumni Association Executive Department, Athletic Association, Cultural Association, Circle, etc.) to learn about what is necessary for running club activities.

　In the second session, a lecturer was dispatched from the Shimonoseki City Kita Fire Department to conduct an "emergency lifesaving course". . In the course, for about two hours, we learned how to use AED, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first aid such as injuries.

　Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was divided into four groups and actually performed using dolls. I was surprised that chest compressions for three consecutive minutes required more physical strength than I imagined. In addition, for first aid such as injuries, I was able to acquire knowledge that could be very useful in daily life, such as what I could do using familiar magazines and pens.

　Finally, Mr. Kuo Kondo, Chairman of the Alumni Association (3rd year economics) as a student representative, thanked him. "I want to bring back the knowledge I gained from the workshop to the department and share it with all the members." It will greatly excite your circle activities in the future. I'm looking forward to the continued success of the students from spring.
