With the construction of the new ground club room, the opening ceremony of the new club room was held on June 4, 2024 (Tuesday).

　The opening ceremony was attended by Shuichi Sasano, General Manager of the General Affairs Department, from Shimonoseki City. Executives and faculty members, including Chair and President, participated from the university, and the students included the president of alumni, president of physical education, officers of the athletic association, and captains of circles using the new club rooms.

　At the opening ceremony, Mr. Sasano gave a greeting from Mayor Maeda. "The championship of the Rubber Baseball Club at the 38th West Japan Student Rubber Baseball Selection Tournament is new to my memory, and I look forward to seeing you more active than ever." . Chair also said, "Please talk with your friends in the new room, work hard in practice, and demonstrate your strength in the game." After that, on behalf of the student, Daichi Nakaji, chairman of the physical education, expressed his gratitude. Mr. Nakashi expressed his gratitude, saying, "I will use the club room carefully and connect not only to myself but also to my juniors in the future."

　After the opening ceremony, a commemorative photo was taken and a tour of the new room was held. The students were excited about the club rooms they would use in the future and had a fun tour. I look forward to seeing you in the future.
