With the construction of the new club room on the ground, the opening ceremony of the new club room was held on June 4, 2024 (Tuesday).

　The opening ceremony was attended by Shuichi Sasano, General Manager of the General Affairs Department, from Shimonoseki City. Executives and faculty members, including Chair and President, participated from the university, and the students included alumni president, the chairman of the physical education association, and the captain of the circle using the new club room.

　At the opening ceremony, Mr. Sasano read a greeting from Mayor Maeda. "The championship at the 38th West Japan Student Rubber Baseball Selection Tournament in the Rubber Baseball Club is new in memory, and we look forward to seeing you more active than ever." Chair also said, "In the new club room, talk with your friends, practice hard, and show your strength in the game." After that, Daichi Nakaji, chairman of the physical education, expressed his gratitude on behalf of the students. Mr. Nakaji expressed his gratitude, "We will use the club room we received carefully and connect not only to ourselves but also to our juniors in the future."

　After the opening ceremony, we took a commemorative photo and toured the new department room. The students expanded their expectations for the club rooms to be used in the future and enjoyed the tour. I look forward to seeing you in the future.
