In Shimonoseki City, a group called "Shimoseki City Election Enlightenment Supporter" established by the Shimonoseki City Election Administration Committee is active with the aim of raising the interest of young generation in elections and improving the overall turnout. .

The appointment ceremony was held at Shimonoseki City Hall on August 21 (Wednesday), with a total of seven students, including five supporters from the 4th term and one student from Kitakyusyu City University who served as supporters from the 1st to 3rd term, and 1 student from Kitakyusyu City University.

After the appointment ceremony, the supporters paid a courtesy call to Mayor Maedashimo and Deputy Mayor Shimazaki to report on the results of their activities, and talked about their future activities.
