JEES / MUFG Emergency Support Scholarship (Lump)

The Japan International Educational Support Association (JEES) provided an emergency scholarship (lump-sum payment) aimed at alleviating the anxiety of students who were economically affected by the expansion of COVID-19 infection and supporting the continuation of Gaku Osamu.

[Application Guidelines]
The guidelines and application form (Form 1) are available on the scholarship application page of the Japan International Education Support Association. If you would like to apply, please read the contents carefully and prepare the required documents.

<Recommended number> 4 people
<Benefit amount> 100,000 yen lump sum per person
<Scheduled payment date> Scheduled for September 2022
<Eligibility for application> Those who fall under all of the following
  (1) Japanese students enrolled in universities and graduate schools in Japan in April 2022 (permanent residence in Japan)
Privately financed international students residing in Japan as of April 2022.
Those whose status of residence is "College Student"
  (2) Economic loss occurred due to the impact of the COVID-19 infection.
Those in need of financial assistance
  (3) Those who have not received or are not planning to receive JEES Scholarships or JEES Crown Scholarship Scholarship.
  (4) Those who have excellent personality and are committed to Gaku Osamu Osamu

(The applicant will be required to submit the application form in data at a later date.)

  (3) A copy of a passbook that shows the economic situation (living conditions) for the last six months
  (4) Documents that can confirm the financial distress situation

<Submission address> Student Support Division International Exchange Center (International Students) 
<Selection/Recommendation> After reviewing the submitted documents and recommending them through on-campus selection, JEES will make a selection and decision.
     
<Scholarship Obligations> (1) Scholarship students are required to prepare for their study, research, and living conditions in FY2022 by the prescribed format at the end of the fiscal year.
Submission of
  (2) Scholarship students receive the scholarship at the request of the Japan International Education Support Association and donors.
Answering questionnaires, etc.
  (3) Scholarship students should participate as much as possible when exchange meetings are held.
     
<Notes> (1) Deficiency of documents (such as missing entries, insufficient documents to be submitted, not designated submission method, etc.) will not be subject to screening.
