On October 4, 2014, the Fall Semester Open Lecture “Energy Transition and Community-Who Work on Renewable Energy” was launched at the Karato Satellite Campus.

Dr. Fujitani, a specially appointed faculty member of the university, introduced renewable energy initiatives nationwide and gave lectures in an easy-to-understand manner while touching on overseas cases. In addition, some of the students were actually trying to work on renewable energy in the city, and in the Q & A session, lively discussions were held with a view to practice.
