Center introduction
What can you learn in 100 years of life?
The Recurrent Education Center of Shimonoseki City University has been offering classes for working adults since June 2020. Now that you have accumulated life experience as a member of society, you want some confidence about the confidence gained from experience, or you are seeking your own answer in the rules of thumb.
For any reason, anyone can learn. If you are lost in life, learn again and again! That's recurrent education.
Purpose of the Recurrent Education Center
Looking ahead to the arrival of "100 years of life" and "Society 5.0", the attention of the re-learning of society (recurrent education, rekilling, and upskilling) is increasing steadily.
The Recurrent Education Center offers courses mainly on Saturday and nighttime, and also establishes a system that allows students to learn both face-to-face and online. In response to the needs of members of society, such as "I want to develop new occupational skills including reemployment" and "I want to learn fields that I am interested in for self-development after retirement because I have time after retirement." We provide a place for re-learning.
