Simulated Patient Training Course

The purpose of this course is to train simulated patients for local residents who can participate and cooperate in nursing education. In order for nursing students to acquire practical skills, it is important to learn in an environment close to reality. In particular, interaction with simulated patients is an important learning opportunity for students to snuggle up with the other person's feelings and develop an attitude to sympathize with them. A simulated patient is a person who has received a training program in advance, interacts with nursing students like an actual patient based on a predetermined scenario (setting), and feeds back on what they felt and feelings to the students. As a public university, we aim to foster nurses rooted in the Kanmon area in cooperation with the local community. By cooperating with local people of various ages as simulated patients, more realistic nursing education can be realized. In addition, we believe that it will be an opportunity for simulated patients to raise their health awareness.
