We have opened a special website for admission selection in 2025.
Faculty of Economics consists of three departments: Department of Economics, Department of International Commerce and Department of Public Management. At Shimonoseki City University Faculty of Economics, students learn about economic, organizational and social mechanisms through these three departments. Students who have studied basic subjects in each department will choose and study applied subjects themselves. We aim to develop highly skilled professionals who can respond to new challenges that have never been experienced before by creating their own educational programs and gaining experience in line with them.
Human resources capable of utilizing massively accumulated big data will be required in a wide range of fields, both public and private sectors. In addition to knowledge and skills in data science, Shimonoseki City University Faculty of Data Science develops human resources who provide diverse and free learning and lead to a sustainable future.
With a view to a healthy future, we will surely continue to walk with people and communities. We will nurture such professionals in nursing and contribute to the local community.
In addition to new university graduates, Shimonoseki City University Graduate School has accepted and sent out a variety of members, including active members and retirees mainly in the Shimonoseki area, and international students from Korea and China. With a small number of students, we have established an environment in which graduate students can exchange opinions based on knowledge and experience and stimulate each other, and a friendly support system in place such as lectures and research guidance held day and night by professors.
