Faculty of Economics consists of three departments: Department of Economics, Department of International Commerce and Department of Public Management. Shimonoseki City University Faculty of Economics learns the economic, organizational and social structure through these three departments. Students who have studied basic subjects in each department choose their own applied subjects to study. By creating our own educational programs and gaining the experience we have learned along with them, we aim to develop highly skilled professionals who can respond to new issues that we have never experienced before.
Human resources who can utilize vastly accumulated big data will be required in a wide range of fields, both public and private sectors. Shimonoseki City University Faculty of Data Science, along with knowledge and skills in data science, provides diverse and free learning and fosters human resources who lead to the realization of a sustainable future.
Looking ahead to a healthy future, we will certainly continue to walk with people and communities. We will nurture such nursing professionals and contribute to the local community.
Shimonoseki City University Graduate School has accepted and sent a variety of members, including new graduates from universities, active working adults and retirees mainly in the Shimonoseki area, and international students from Korea and China. With a small number of students, we have established an environment in which graduate students can exchange opinions based on knowledge and experience, stimulate each other, and a friendly support system such as lectures and research guidance held day and night by professors.
